It's a Go

This time, she has to be brave

she has to put on her big girl underwear 

and go forward 

With out knowing what will happen 

she's going to do it

Have that inevitable talk 

"what are we?"

She shakes in her leggings 

unsure of what to expect 

and yet hopeful at the same time 

She's going to go for it

before she can turn around 

she presses the green button on her phone 

and says "hey...I'm here..."

waiting patiently at the door...

A little awkward...

Their relationship was one she could not understand

When it began, she was slightly confused but just as giddy 

She enjoyed the late night talks and midnight smooches 

Then it all changed 

The phone calls stopped and so did the texts

It's like their relationship took a month hiatus 

To be resumed...because it did pick up again 

Just on a different note 

Things weren't the same 

But his words still held their charm 

She was confused as ever and didn't know where to stand 

Or what to do 

So at times she walked in doubt 

Not sure of what to do 

And if she should call

Should she send him a text ?

What if he doesn't answer?

What if he takes too long?

Should she just press send?
